About Miguel and Sandra
Hi, we're Miguel and Sandra. We both know exactly what it feels like to move to a new country. Miguel did his Erasmus in Wrocław, Poland, and then spent five years living and working in Brussels; Sandra worked in Belgium and in Canada, and spent her student years with BEST, the Board of European Students of Technology, helping other people land somewhere new. Between us we remember searching for rooms in a language we didn't speak, wiring deposits to landlords we'd never met, and hoping for the best. Now we're back home in Lisbon, renting out our own rooms the way we wish someone had rented to us: direct contact, a proper contract, honest photos, and a real person answering your questions. No agency, no booking fees.
How we work
Four things we commit to
The same rules for every room and every tenant.

Written contract
You sign a written rental contract before you pay the deposit. It sets out the rent, the deposit, the start date and the minimum stay.

Honest photos and plain facts
Photos will show the room as it is. Each page also lists the downsides: no elevator, how many people share the bathroom, an interior window. Better to know before you visit than after you move in.

You talk directly to us
You write to us on WhatsApp — one number, both of us reading it. One of us shows you the room, in person or on a video call, and hands you the keys. Never an agent, never a stranger.

What you pay
You pay the rent and a deposit, nothing else. Water, electricity, gas, internet and weekly cleaning are included in the rent, in the shared flats and in the whole apartments alike.
